Sweet Potato Mash

Dinner: Made a great side dish tonight – sweet potato mash. After boiling two sweet potatoes until tender, I added about 1/2 a cup or so of spiced apple cider and returned the pot to medium heat. I also added about a tablespoon of butter, a dash of heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a wee dash of salt. I used a fork to mash it all up, and lowered the heat once the butter melted and the cider warmed through. It was absolutely delicious!
